Billing Options
Levelized Billing Plan
Members using electricity for air conditioning or heating may find their bills varying a great deal during the year depending upon the weather. A Levelized Plan is available to all residential customers who have a good payment record. The bill amount will vary to reflect changes in monthly usage, yet it provides the convenience of a level monthly payment so you can better plan your budget.
Draft Payment Plan
Bank Credit Card Draft Form
For your convenience, we offer a Bank Draft Payment Plan. This service allows you to pay your electric bill automatically by authorizing us to charge your bank account for the bill amount. Under this program, we send you a bill so you'll know how much to deduct from your bank account prior to bill submission to your bank. To make this service even more useful, it can be combined with Levelized Billing.
Telelink Pay-by-Phone
Telelink allows you to pay your bill from any touch-tone phone, 24-hours a day, and have it posted to your account within minutes. With Telelink you don't even have to punch in any numbers, you can speak your commands directly to the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system.
E-Bill-Paperless Electric Bill
Credit Card Payment Plan
Payment of electric bills by credit cards may be made automatically each month or by calling in at your convenience. When the proper forms have been completed authorizing the credit card monthly payments, CGEMC will process the payment by credit card automatically each month for you. You will receive a bill each month showing your usage and the dollar amount charged to your credit card. You can also call the office at any time and pay your bill by credit card over the phone.
Senior Citizen's Plan
Member-customers, age 62 or older and on a fixed income such as Social Security, disability, or retirement income, may apply for a special billing cycle to be received on, or approximately on, the first of each month rather than within three working days of the meter reading date. Also, a member-customer on permanent total disability income may qualify for this billing cycle upon proof of a disability award. The disability income must be the primary income.
The account can only be for a primary residence and/or a pump supplying water to the primary residence. Commercial accounts, rental property or weekend cottages are not eligible.
