Now Accepting Applications for the Washington Youth Tour
Central Georgia EMC is accepting applications from area
high school sophomores or juniors for consideration in the
prestigious Washington Youth Tour, a unique leadership
opportunity available once a year to prospective students in
Georgia.
If chosen, the student(s) will join more than 100 youths
from across Georgia to represent the state during the 2010
Washington Youth Tour held June 10-17, 2010.
Students interested in developing their leadership skills,
making friendships that will last a lifetime, and making a
pilgrimage to the nation's capital should:
- Fill out an application.
- Provide a letter of recommendation from a teacher or
counselor.
- Be a high school sophomore or junior between 16 to 18
years old during the time of the Youth Tour.
- Be a legal resident in one of the 14 counties served by
Central Georgia EMC.
