There are times when a homeowner may want or need to have trees trimmed or removed, which are not included in the regular right-of-way maintenance guidelines of CGEMC. Our Right-of-Way Department works to maintain clearance around power lines so that, in the event of bad weather, outages due to falling limbs and trees will be minimized.

Central Georgia EMC offers, through Centec, Inc., additional tree services such as tree removal, topping, trimming, and brush removal.  Centec, Inc., has years of experience cutting trees to avoid damage to property.  All work is fully insured, with satisfaction guaranteed.  Our right-of-way department will contact you to set up a convenient time to discuss the work.  Upon mutual agreement, a contract will be executed and the work completed in a reasonable time.
