Pecan Pralines
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1/3 stick of salted butter
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 2 cups pecans
- 1-2 teaspoons vanilla
In a medium saucepan, combine the first 4 ingredients and cook on medium-high heat until boiling, stirring constantly. Boil for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and immediately add pecans and vanilla. Stir until firm and mixture loses gloss. Spoon mixture onto wax paper or parchment and allow to cool.
