The Central Georgia EMC Foundation awarded the Butts County Extension Services/4-H Youth Development a $2,180 grant to support youth programs.
The mission of Butts County 4-H is to help students in 4th – 12th grades develop the knowledge, life skills, and attitudes that will enable them to become self-directing, productive, and contributing members of society. This mission is fulfilled through hands-on learning experiences in agricultural and environmental awareness, leadership, communication skills, citizenship, energy conservation, health, and food and nutrition.
