We are proud to announce that Central Georgia EMC once again ranks among the lowest-cost electricity providers in Georgia! In summer 2021, CGEMC was the second-lowest-cost electric provider in the state at the 2,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh) level and the fourth lowest at the 1,500 kWh level.
The Public Service Commission's (PSC) 2021 Summer Residential Survey ranks all 94 electric providers in Georgia. At the 2,000 kWh level, the average electric consumer in Georgia pays $253.41 per month. CGEMC consumers paid $204.40. That is $49.01 below the state average! At the 1,500 kWh level, CGEMC members saved $31.14 per month compared to the state average.
