Connecting Henry has served the residents of Henry County since 1996. Their mission is to identify and connect existing resources in the community to strengthen individuals, families, and children in Henry County. The Christmas Toy Shop provides new toys and books to children in the community who might not otherwise find presents under their tree on Christmas morning. The event is staffed by volunteers who act as personal shoppers to assist parents in their selections. In 2020, the Community Cares Toy Shop served approximately 733 children and 303 families.
