Henry County Outdoor Partnership received $4,000 in grant money from the Central Georgia EMC Operation Round Up Foundation.
These funds will be used for the Cubihatcha Outdoor Program. The yearly program gives the 3rd graders of Henry County a chance to experience hands-on learning with the environmental subjects they are studying while teaching them about wildlife and conservation. The students explore the nature trails and visit the learning stations during the two-week event. Over the past 20 years, the program has brought hands-on learning to over 33,000 students.
