A great deal of planning, equipment, staff, and training is needed to provide safe, reliable electricity to those we serve. We want to ensure our customer-owners feel good about the services we provide. Central Georgia Electric Membership Corporation uses the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) to measure our effectiveness in serving customer-owners. The ACSI is a nationally recognized measurement tool that takes feedback from customers and uses that data to develop an overall satisfaction score. The score is compared to similar organizations across the nation to gauge performance.
In the 3rd quarter of 2017, CGEMC scored 86 out of 100 in overall satisfaction. We are pleased that our customer-owners rated us so favorably in the latest ACSI survey, where Central Georgia EMC ranked higher than the national average among investor-owned utilities (75), Touchstone Energy Cooperatives (76), and other cooperatives (76). We strive for continuous improvement in all that we do, and our goal is to move our score even higher.
CGEMC looks forward to continuing to meet and exceed our customer-owners’ expectations. As your local Touchstone Energy cooperative, we are dedicated to providing the best and most reliable service at the lowest practicable rates. We will continue to work with your satisfaction in mind.
